Till grew up with horses and competed in dressage up to advanced medium in Germany. After school he served his National Service and subsequently qualified as a paramedic before starting to study veterinary medicine at Leipzig University, Germany. He graduated in 2004 and finished a doctorate thesis at the Faculty of Anatomy in Leipzig.

His first job was near Stuttgart, Germany where he worked as ambulatory vet in a specialist orthopaedic equine hospital. He then moved on to England in 2007, working again in an equine hospital before starting his own practice as Hörmann Equine in 2012.

Till offers a very individual service for owner and horse. His particular interest lies in lameness and sports medicine but he enjoys all aspects of equine veterinary work. He is a member of the International Association of Veterinary Chiropractic (IAVC). He also enjoys his role as Veterinary Services Manager at the Landrover Burghley Horse Trials.
